What you shouldn't tell God.

What you shouldn't tell God:
- any lie
- anything sugarcoated

It's not that he doesn't see right through these, but they won't further your relationship with Him or further your own personal growth as a human being. When you see a stranger at church, and they ask you how you're doing, you lie and say "Good! Thanks so much!" when really you're depressed because your uncle just died or you just lost your job or you just found out that your brother is really sick or maybe you just can't see much hope in life anymore. But God is not a stranger at church. And he can handle us at our worst.

What you should tell God:

- That you are so incredibly angry with someone that you feel like you could kill them
- That you have been lusting after other men or women (and you're married)
- That sometimes you feel like life isn't worth living, and it'd be easy to take some pills and be done with it
- That you're addicted to porn
- That you can't seem to stop lying
- That you're having sex with your boyfriend or girlfriend, and wish you would have waited
- That you are ungrateful
- That you know what you're doing is wrong, and yet you feel numb about it
- That you wish sometimes you could just be irresponsible
- That you are too tired to take care of your kids
- That you struggle in believing in God and Christianity

- and everything else you truly feel

God can handle us at our worst. And once we break the barrier and let the Light flood in, we can be healed from our depravity.

There are some things that I don't want to talk about with God or people. But today I was reminded to talk to God about it, and He listened and didn't judge me and I feel more peace now. And now I know real healing can come to me in those areas.

Honesty is the best policy.

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." - 1 Peter 5:7
